Outdoor Chat Set
Happy Saturday, everyone! Time for a quick post on my first “good find” since I started this blog...yesterday!
Spring is technically here, which means outdoor patio weather has arrived!!! YAY!!! There is a smaller area on our patio that’s a little off to the side, which would be perfect for a little bistro set or chat set with two chairs and a small table (this means it’s a bistro set right, or did I use that term wrong?). I have been looking for an outdoor chat set that is comfortable, yet stylish that would of course, NOT cost me an arm and a leg.
I’ve mainly been shopping online for this set and a few home stores here and there. Today, I went to Costco on a “normal” grocery run (or really it was a baby stuff run because who am I kidding...I can’t cook), and I saw this ADORABLE outdoor patio set just screaming at me for attention. I couldn’t resist and sat on it, and...OMG it was so comfortable! It was super stylish and the material looked to be of very high quality.
Cost: $499 for this 3 piece set, and the 4 decorative pillows are included.
I could totally lounge in this chair for hours. I’ve seen similar outdoor sets with the round chairs that cost closer to $1,000, so this seemed like a pretty good deal to me.
My Description: The body of the chair and the side table are of all weather resin wicker and are a grayish-brown color. The chair cushions are light gray with dark gray piping. The pillows have a geometric design using grays, whites, and yellows. As indicated on the price label, it is all Sunbrella fabric material that is supposedly resistant to stains, mildew, fading, etc. In addition to all of that, the chairs SWIVEL!!! That was a huge plus for me just because I like to swing my legs and turn the chair round and round like I’m twelve years old.
The chair dimensions are approximately H 33in x W 37in x D 36in.
The table dimensions are approximately H 20in x W 24in x D 24in.
Note: I was not able to find this set on Costco.com, but I checked with Costco customer service, and they do carry it in many of their stores. Make sure you call in to ask if they have this in stock at your local Costco store, or just take a fun shopping trip and be surprised with what you'll find like I did!
The box is quite large, so make sure you have a truck or van that has enough room to transport it!
