Hi everyone! My name is Frances, and I would like to welcome you to a glimpse of my world and a play on CHIC! Though I’m nowhere near being a pro designer, I’ve always been interested in aspects of design, particularly in the home and fashion space.

I am very fortunate to have a husband, family and friends who have been unconditionally supportive of my enjoyments. They've encouraged me to start this blog to channel my thoughts and document the ideas and changes constantly taking place around me. I enjoy designing or maybe my “designing” is more like pairing things together to make it look better (haha). More importantly, I enjoy learning how to design for everyday living when a chic look can be achievable, functional and affordable. Through this platform, I hope to share with you a perspective of chic from the eyes of an everyday no-pro designer in hopes that it will provide inspiration and encouragement.
